Please don't forgot to wear your mask when navigating the club

In light of the Corona virus pandemic, the club, through guidelines posted by both the county and New York State, will be implementing new policies to keep your families and our staff safe. We ask for your support and patience in these unprecedented times as we attempt to make the most out of this stressful situation. The club will be implementing the following policies:

Entering the Club

Following CDC guidelines, we are asking all members and staff to please wear a mask when entering and moving around the club.

  • You could spread COVID-19 to others even if you do not feel sick.

  • The cloth face cover is meant to protect other people in case you are infected.

  • Even when wearing a mask please continue to keep about 6 feet between yourself and others. Masks are not a substitute for social distancing.

  • You will be turned away if you are not wearing a mask.

To maintain the health of other members and our staff, your temperature will be taken upon entrance.

  • You cannot enter without having your temperature taken.

  • If you are found with a fever you will be turned away.

  • If you do not feel well, please stay home.

Locker keys will be handed out to members upon their first visit to the club. It will then be the members responsibility to hold onto the key. The office will not be collecting keys.

Club Amenities

Please enter the beach by the east and west boardwalks and exit by the center boardwalk.

  • All boardwalks are one way.

  • Arrows will denote the direction of movement.

  • Please maintain social distancing when on the boardwalk.

We ask all cabana owners to responsibly limit occupancy in consideration of the safety of their neighbors and NYS social distancing guidelines. We ask all cabana owners to open and close their own cabanas as we aim to limit contact between different people.

Follow other signs posted throughout the club in addition to the rules issued by the Swordfish Board and Manager

Please Follow All CDC and NYS Guidelines

Stay at least 6 feet (about two arm lengths) from other people at all times.

Cover your sneeze or cough with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash and wash your hands.

Wash hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after going to the bathroom, before and after eating, and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing. Do not touch your eyes, nose, and mouth.

Use hand-sanitizers placed throughout the club. Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces within cabanas.

Please use your best judgement. What you do does not only affect you, it can put other beach-goers around you at risk.

We thank you for working with us as we attempt to make the best out of this situation. We ask members to be patient as we work with the local authorities to slowly return to normal. We will post updates throughout the coming weeks as more information becomes available to us. Please follow the new policies and posted guidelines, as only together can we get through this pandemic.  Though this summer will be unlike any before, we hope that by staying strong together things will soon return to normal, and we can enjoy yet another summer of fun.
